The Neighborhood
Christian Center is a beacon of hope within the inner city of Jackson,
Mississippi. We share Christ's love through caring for the physical,
spiritual, education and emotional needs of the poor.
Our center is a safe place where we believe that education and sharing the love of Jesus Christ is the key to helping children succeed. We do this through offering: after-school tutoring, summer academic programs and instruction in the visual and performing arts . For adults in our community, we offer: classes in Parenting & Computer Literacy and assistance as needed with clothing and food. Every holiday season, we distribute over 750 meals to needy families in our surrounding community.
